The 2nd day of Chinese New Year.

My 2nd day of the Chinese New Year.

Praying.
The offerings for the gods + ancestors.
Let's see. we have chicken, pork, tea, wine, tangerines, veggie, nian gao etc etc.

You notice there's double of everything?
That's cause us 2 families pray together.
^^

The chicken.

Luckily the dead chicken was not holding the lid of the rice cooker.
XD

A cup of tea.
Cheers!

It looks like its from a movie right?
I doubt there're anymore of these houses in Bentong.
This is the place where I used to play when I was young.
^^

One of them is my grandpa's grandfather.
My great grandfather lar.
The other one is his bro.

I asked my grandma who this was.

She said in cantonese: I also dunno how to call him.
= =

Ancestor larh, ancestor.

Praying.

Her majesty, the queen!

Random.

The money offerings for our ancestors.

My Ba Po Po praying...

From the left,
my grandma, my mum, and ba po po.

The pretty seashell.
I dunno where did it come from.
Its not like there's a sea here.

Random.

This was my drawing from when I was a child.
I remembered I was taught the word 'emas' in kindergarten.
So I drew emas lor...
haha XD

I wrote it.
Haha.

Random.

After the praying was done,
my bro and I relaxed at the gazebo again.
Hehe.
We love it there...

Welcome to the year of the rabbit or is it a pig??

The little stream...
Ahhhhh~ Nature~~~

Relaxing.
this picture looks like it was taken by the pool side right?

Cranky old guy trying to fish.
Nah that's just a bamboo stick he was fooling around with.
He was trying out moves from the book,
Young Samurai.

Cam whoring.
XD

Bro: OMG!! I caught a... ... slipper?

Happy Chinese New Year!!!
I wrote it of course!!

I still can't take photos of the 2 of us properly.
Haizzzz...

Me ^^

My bro posing with the bamboo sticks to make them look like a bow and an arrow.
Stop reading too many samurai books.

Me.

In front of the gazebo.

Erm... Ehem...
Haha XD
Jumping shot.
But as you can see the way I jump is so OMG!!

My bro's one and only jumping shot.
Trying to achieve take off.

I dunno what was he trying to do then...

The tree house.
Nah, haha. Kidding.
That's my grandma's house.
Its on top of a hill surrounded by tress that's all.

Me. AGAIN.
Sorry for being a narcissist.

My outfit of the day :)
Stripes.

Later that afternoon,
we went to a restaurant.
Aiya, lazy to type r...
Just look at the photos.

My mum in stripes.

My bro and dad in stripes.
Whole family in stripes.
= ='''
Gosh.

Lau Sheng.

And the rest of the photos are about food which I'm lazy to explain and describe the taste.
So imagine the taste yourself.

Going home ^^
I still fail at this.

The sky was blue and it was so damn hot!!!

P/s:
My mind is very blur now,
so can't generate enough words.

The 1st day of Chinese New Year.

My outfit of the day.
-^^-

Our first stop for the day.
Lingky's house in Bilut.
That silly Jere posted on FB, he told us to go at 8am.
I was like, WTF? So darn early? What for o?

In the end the guy who suggested that was the latest to arrive.
Khor, Chaiyee and I, the 3 of us were the early birds.
We were soooooo paiseh.

Group photo after our lovely breakfast made by Lingky's mum.
We decided to take a groups photo at every stop.

Mermaid Tay's sexy lips.
The moment we saw her come out of her house,
Khor and my jaw dropped.
Haha XD

Our Lengzai driver.

The 3 beauties
On the way to Bentong in Khor's car^^

Me

Chatting in Jer Yuen's house.
Finally the atmosphere wasn't that awkward.
I think everyone was very tired that day.

Group hug! photo!!
In front of Jer Yuen's house.

Our next stop.
Kelly's house!!
Yay! The year of the Rabbit!!
I was snowed under by a bunch of hooligans.

Wong CK and Jere.
Posing in front of the liquor cabinet in Kelly's house.
Luckily nothing dropped or else Kelly's dad would've had a heart attack.
:P

At Wong CK's house.
Which was next door to Kelly's.
We did get the chance to have a group photo there.
Cause someone got mad.

Our 5th stop.
Weng Fatt Bakery.
In not in the photo, I had to take the picture.
Cause Khor's bro wasn't a very good photographer.

Our 6th pit stop.
My house
Woohoo~~
At first my mum wasn't at home so everyone was having fun and being destructive.
Nah kidding.

I can't believe these guys have never seen a walnut in their lives!
They were all wondering what those little things in the jar were.
And I couldn't explain in Chinese cause I didn't what was it called in Chinese.

And when my mum returned...
They still weren't behaving.
XD

7th pit stop.
Lian Lian's house!!

This photo was taken at Elie's house.
Why?
Because everyone forgot to have a group photo at Jere's house.
So we had to compromise and take a picture with Jere's baby.

The last group photo of the day.
Tired but satisfied :)

I crack up every time I see this photo.
XD

A last photo of me, something for you to laugh at.
XD

Chinese New Year Eve.

My Chinese New Year Eve was okay.
My mum, bro and I had to wake up at around 7am to go to my grandma's house to help out with the prayers and stuff.

I don't think I really did help :P
I just ran along plucking veggies (all home grown by my grandma), peeling garlic (WTF), sticking the red paper all over (Aiya dunno how to explain) etc etc.
Just simple stuff.

Then we had to say our prayers lor...

After that?

My bro and I lepak at this pretty gazebo the whole morning listen to songs.
My bro was the one who took this photo so its a bit senget.

团圆饭
Us kiddies sat outside cause it was too tight inside.

:)

My grandma, grandpa, uncle etc.

A typical 团圆饭.

Her Majesty, the Queen.
XD

Typical Guangxi dishes.

My cousin.

Her sis.
Who doesn't like her photos to be taken.
*Sounds familiar?*

Their youngest sis.

I'm -ing this pic.

Other cousins.

When I saw this I was like,
= =''' LOL!!!

My grandpa's bro.
They live together.
A big happy family.

His wife.

A nice doggie.
Woof.

My grandma,
I think she's drunk.

My glass of red wine.
I wanted to try some,
but got more than I could chew.
It tasted horrible!!

In the end my bro and I mixed it with lotsa orange juice in and gulped everything down.

晴天, 雨天, 天.

:)

A quickie.

My god!! I just the last 2 hours on Facebook,
uploading and tagging photos.
Tag sampai mau muntah.

I accidently deleted the whole album so I had to re-upload and re-tag from scratch.
Argggghhh!!!
Just tagging made me dizzy.

Haizzz...
But at least its done NOW.

I'm here to wish y'll a HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!
Will update properly when my head isn't spinning.

Happy Chinese New Year! :)

Gong Hei Fatt Choi~~~

Haha XD

I just came back from' CNY visitation' is there even a phrase like this?
So I'm damn tired now to either type or upload photos.

There only 5 here.

The first 2 were taking during the eve.
When we had our reunion dinner.
It isn't hard to have a reunion dinner,
cause all my relatives from my dad's side of the family are living in Bentong.

The oldies are all sitting inside.
Cause the table is too small.

And the youngsters and mums sit outside.
Haha.

The next 3 photos are from today's 'bai nian'
Very lazy to upload the rest...
Haizzz...

In front of Lingky's house.

In Kar Yee's house.

We made a point to take photos after every stop.
Will explain in detail later if I'm in the mood.

This is what a can of sardines look like.
5 persons in the back of a Wira.
My god!!
Everytime there was a bump on the road,
Jeremiah's car went kkkkkkkktttttt~~~
(The sound when the bottom of the car touches the road surface)

Ok, that's all for now.
Have to sleep earlier cause tomorrow I will be going to my grandma's house again in the morning to help with the praying.

Toodles~

P/s: Happy CNY~~!!!!
