这女孩，
在我很小的时候就认识了。



同样也是因为音乐而相遇的。
在我模模糊糊的记忆中，
有个眼睛大大，笑容很甜美的小女生。
我对他的印象最深刻就是她的名字，

伊丽莎白。Elisabeth.

我还记得我母亲告诉我，
那是英国王后的名字。

啊啊。




重看以前的照片，
才猛然发现，
我们就读同一间幼儿园。
同样穿着一件白色上衣，
红色格子布的短裙，
脸上带着灿烂的笑容。




小时候的我们。






中间隔了六年的空白。
因为小时候不同校。






长大了，
上中一，当时同校可不同班。
还记得那时候是越野赛跑，
你跑了过来问我，


“你以前是在Yamaha学琴的，对吧？”



啊啊。
你应该不记得了吧。



过了一年，
我们同班了，但彼此不熟。
只是知道有对方的存在。


就这样，
同班了6年！
只是上了中6才变得友好一些。



以前觉的你很难靠近，
觉得你的世界离我很遥远，
若要跟你说话，都找不到共同的话题聊。


日子久了，
才觉得你这个人很友善，
很乐于助人，
常常都在笑，
不太会发脾气，
不说别人的是非，
心地好到让我觉得难以置信！
啊啊，真的！


当然有好也有坏。。。
最让我顶不顺的是整天是又作呕不是又作呕。
要不然没事做就想些奇怪的问题来为难我们。
唉。。。






现在，
我们都快要上大学了，
竟然还有缘同校，
真的很开心。

谢谢你不愿其烦，特地上来载我，
不会过马路，可是因为我的关系都还是要兜个大圈。

A birthday sketch.

A sketch for Elie's birthday,
it was the best I could come up with cause I was rushing to finish it...
There're some MAJOR problems with the hands and feet.
UGH.






Obviously the guy with the ginormous cake is Mr Khor,


the one next to him is Lingky exclaiming that the cake is
"Wah!! So big arh!!!!",

Prom??? Huh??

Tomorrow's our prom night.
Well they say its a grand prom,
but I say its sorta like a gathering.
How can it be a prom when more than half choose to not show up?




Well, like most girls,
I've got a problem.

What do I wear??!

If you go in something to flashy like a gown
(which I don't have)
you'll look out of place when everybody's just wearing casual.


If you go in something casual
(my type of casual is T-shirt and jeans)
you'll look plain and weird.


Semi-formal?
I'll just end up like going to Katholik again.



Argghhhh!!!



Oh, and how can it be a real prom
when you don't have dates to come pick you up in tuxedos?
and corsages to match?

我们相遇的那时候，
我就只有那一丁点的记忆而已。

在我记忆中，

从小到大的我们都有着钢琴的陪伴，
还记得我们都被调到同一时间上音乐课，
一起被挤在音乐中心的小小一间房内，

有时也会把时间延长，
两个人一起做past year。
还会偷看作弊。

在学校，
刚开始还很陌生，
只知道你是隔壁班的哨牙妹，
只知道你画画很厉害。


中间隔的那段时期，
我真的记不起了。
不知从何时，
变得要好一些了。

那时候，
因为咱们俩对画画都有浓厚的兴趣，
而整天凑在一起。

妳时常吩咐我帮你买饭，
而作为报答你得帮我画几幅画。


我好喜欢你的画，
画人物比我厉害的多了。
当下的我羡慕极了。
好像要把你当神来拜了！




啊啊。





慢慢的，
变得越来越要好了，
对彼此都有一定的了解。

时常在上课的时候偷看漫画，
要不然就画画，
咱们俩的手像是抽筋似的一直在画。
画了就交换欣赏，
再加点讽刺。

要不然就写小说，
你给点意见，我也给点。




当然也会因为意见不同而发生冲刺。
骂架，也是当然的咯。


人生是有起有沉的。




沉得最低的那段时间是中六那年，
咋们俩因为一点点的小事，
而大吵大闹。
为了那芝麻绿豆的事，
竟然吵翻脸。

好久好久都没有说活了。


渐渐的变得疏远了。
你有一群要好的朋友，
我也有了。


我们之间出现了裂痕，
不是说补就补得回的。

而是要彼此放下自尊心，
好好的道歉，
好好的沟通。




幸好，还来得及。





我觉得有时候有些事情的发生，
都是注定的。
就像我们的相遇。

更美妙的是，
我俩的兴趣大大相同。
我们都喜欢画画，
弹琴，
写作，
漫画。


两个都是有天分的人。




如今，
来到了分叉路前。
妳选择了音乐，
我选择了设计。
选择了彼此都喜欢的，
只是稍微多了一点热爱。

我并不晓得未来的事，
但现在我知道的是，

Paintings X2!

I've been in the mood for paintings,
so I decided to paint a few more after the first one.
They turned out GREAT!!

I dunno why the girls I paint look slightly like 谢安真.
LOL, if you watch The Fierce Wife you'll know who.
XD

I actually wanted to write the words in the painting
but decided not to in case I ruined it.
The pink and purple in the background is supposed to be sakura trees,
but then I didn't know where to stop dabbing,
so the entire page was filled.
LOL

Super love her dress :)



The things I hate paintings are the eyes and the skin tone
which I can never get right.
UGH.

My 3rd one I did last Sunday after I came back from the Sunday market.
Apparently painting for 5 hours straight after you went shopping is not such a good idea.
You'll be so tired,
the following day you'll sleep till after noon, and later you'll nap again.

Yup that's what I did. :P

I messed up big time on this one.
The gown was supposed to white! WHITE!!!
Instead its pink.

Ugh.


I tried to make it look like speed painting but it wasn't... T.T

Messy everything.
Haha XD







Apparently I'm having some kind of art block right now.
I don't feel like grabbing a pencil and start sketching.
This is so damn frustrating cause I've got to finish up a commission for a friend that's due on Sunday.
And its going to be a group picture, I mean more than 20 peeps in it.

Just now when he asked me on FB about the drawing,
I logged out straight away.

I was feeling bored today as there was nothing to do.

And so I unearthed my art stuff from the store room.





There's this really embarrassing story about my art stuff.



Remember me saying
that I was a substitute teacher a few months ago?

Well, at first I couldn't find all my stuff!
My brushes, the water colour, my palete,
they were all missing!
And I was terribly worried
cause the brushes and the palete belonged to my mum.
They were like some sort of heirloom.



I was frantic.
I thought I left all my art supplies at school for months
and never remembered to bring them back!

I told Shao Min to ask her mum,
then I asked for the number of the teacher I replaced,
Ms Remender
(though she's no longer Ms now)


I typed this long message asking her
whether she did see all my stuff in a Kinokuniya bag under her desk.
Eventually, the answer I got was NO.


But by then,
I had already found all my stuff.
= =
It was my bro who got them!!
Argggghhhh!!!!

LOL, enough with the embarrassing stuff.

Let's get on with it.


Since I was bored I decided to try painting something,
Its been ages since I've painted anything decent.

I found this lovely photo on Facebook,
from one of those pages where there's lotsa stuff about horoscopes,
I decided this simple photo would be perfect for me to practice again.
I wanted to do something monotone,
with light, subtle colours.




But instead... = =

I know!!!


Even though its unfinished,
it looks nothing like the photo above!
So its practically a disaster = =

The messiness is enough to make my head spin.

So this is the end product.

It looked better than what I imagined.
Well, first off, I love the creases on her dress,
I decided to paint it red instead of ivory cause using light colours is a big pain int he butt.

And second,
I love her hair :)




Damn the nose.

It looks a bit like Lady Gaga now :(
